When Biocell is properly installed,it will not be directly obstructing the air vents. Based on the precaution level needed by the EMS crew, it is possible to utilize the normal heating or cooling systems in the patient compartment.
The ambient temperature inside the Biocell remains constant, as does the temperature inside the patient compartment. This is in contrast to the traditional method of duct taping plastic wrapdirectly over the ventilation system rendering it useless in all transports.
